Shamarra Alpaca Farm is located on the western shores of Akaroa Harbour near Wainui, about an hour’s drive from Christchurch. It is a picturesque 35 hectare breeding farm with a herd of over 100 alpacas. Owners Frank and Anya host farm tours which include the opportunity to wander in the paddocks and interact with the animals.
