Very scrumptious Christmas food! Best stored in the fridge. The jelly colours can be themed for any number of different events.
250g packet crushed biscuits (malt, vanilla, your choice)
175g melted butter
Mix together, put in base of tin, chill in fridge.
400g tin sweetened condensed milk
Juice of 2 lemons
2 tspns gelatine
¾ cup hot water
Pour gelatine on top of water, mix until dissolved, then add condensed milk and lemon juice. Put mixture through a sieve, pour on top of chilled base.
Chill until firm.
1 packet raspberry jelly
1 packet lime jelly (or your choice of flavours and colours)
Mix first jelly with 1 cup of boiling water.
Pour first jelly onto the centre when the centre is firm. Chill to set.
Make second jelly also with 1 cup of boiling water, cool, then pour onto first jelly which has already set.
